Types of Portland slag cement

Few Portland cement types:

Expansive Cements:  expansive cement is basically the mixture of calcium sulfoaluminate clinkers, Portland slag cement  and some amount of gypsum. This cement is basically meant for compensation of concretes which are known for shrinking when they dry. This mixture is used for either the compensation of the contraction of the concrete or sometimes enhancing the volume of the concrete the moment it is arranged.
Silica Fumes Portland Cement:  as the name suggests the mixture contains the silica fumes along with Portland cement. These cements are known for unconditional strength and potency. These cements are wonderfully durable and hard.

Blast Furnace Portland Cement:
70% granulated blast furnace slag is there in this mixture and along with some gypsum, Portland cement is mixed. This mixture is having high strength and the sulfate resistance is increased in amount for extra strength.
